Finals!

I know my last post was how I was back on the blogging wagon, and then stopped again. I was going through my old posts and just realized how much I love reading my old posts! It's just fun to see my growth and what not.

So finals week are here, and it doesn't seem real! I can't believe that summer is almost here! I am so pumped for this summer and all the many adventures that it will hold. When I get home I am going to Coachella with my amazing sister Caitlin who won the tickets on the radio! It is the day of my birthday so that will be a great present! Then my roommate Jaclyn is going to come visit at the end of April and we will party hard! Then in May I am going to go to Maryland with Lauren to visit my roommate Amber, and then her parents are going to join us and we are going to go to New York for a couple of days. Then a couple days after our return, the greatest man that ever walked this earth will return from his mission!!! I can't believe that is almost here! He has been gone for 22 months, just two more months and 6 days! Then the Robbins, The Frenkels, and I possibly the Greens I am not positive will be going to our annual Mexico trip! I am so excited for that! I love Mexico with a passion! Then I want to go up to Idaho to visit my roommates and I want to bring Zach up here and show him everything and to visit Parker, but we will see about that one. Then I want to go on some lake trips! I know exciting right! We only live once, and what better time to live than now?

I am turning 20 in a couple days 19 to be exact and it is so odd to me. I can't believe I am out of then teens and no longer have a 1 in front of my age. I guess I will have to wait until I am 100.

I wish I had some pictures to put up, we as friends fail on the taking picture part. It is just so hard because my camera is dead and you have to change the batteries when they die, or I just haven't found the charger. I know excuses, I should just hire a photographer, better yet a videographer! I love videos, I am actually obsessed with them, because you just get to see the ones you love live and moving!I for sure want one at my wedding! I really like exclamation marks , what can I say I am just so stoked for life!

I'm Weak!

I have this thing in life where I can't say no to kids! It is like physically impossible and this might be a bad thing to post about because it might be held against me! 

So last semester the Boy Scout were selling popcorn in front of Wal-Mart and they personally came up to me and asked and they were so cute! They walked me over to the popcorn and told me how much the cheapest bag was, and lets just say it was like 8-12 bucks!! I know right rip off, and I knew it was, but I just can't help myself and I don't want to build their little spirits up and then just smash them!! Then I just came home after taking a long test and there are little girl scouts on my front door step all bundled up, with rosy cheeks asking if I want to buy their cookies. UHHH really little girls, really! How can I say no to that when they are going door to door in the freezing cold weather! The more I think about it I am just weak when it comes to anyone.

I am a people pleaser and just want people to be happy and just not ever hold any resentment towards me. I am sure I have failed in many instances, but I try my hardest. My family would on MANY occasions call me in their bedrooms (yes and I was in my bedroom) to go to the kitchen and get them a class of water, milk, cookies, a Diet Coke. I would always say o my goodness no and walk and and when I would walk back in I would be holding the thing they asked for. I can't even use o that's against my religion excuse because everyone up here is LDS. I am also literally weak, I miss my water polo muscles and swimming muscles, but that is a different post. 

And we are back in 5,4,3,2,...

Did you ever notice when there is a tv show, or a talk radio, or anything where they go on air they never say one, they just count down from one and point there finger which clearly states that they are live. I would know because I am a frequent visitor to sets such as the ones described above.

 So I am sorry to all my readers(hey mom) for this long disappearing act. I was practicing my mazing' McCall act, and I think I have perfected that(if that doesn't make sense to you, then I am sorry you missed a part of my childhood). So I am in my fourth semester up here in the good old BYU-I! It is weird how fast time flies! I still feel super super young, and can't believe that I am here. I remember looking at the junior high kids thinking wow I will never be that old, and then looking at the high school kids thinking how many children they have because they are so old, and then looking at college and wondering when their funerals were going to be. Now I am here I feel like my life is just beginning, mostly because it is!

This semester has been pretty great though weather wise has been wonderful!! Usually it has been snowing since fall, but that isn't the case this year! It will snow and everyone is like welp you are never going to see the ground again until spring, but then the next day all the snow is melted!! It is so joyous! It really makes me so happy to see all of the snow melt like I just want to hug someone! So I am super grateful for that. I tell people that Heavenly Father loves all of His children so He will send snow every now and then, but is saying this year I will show love to all those who don't like the snow. People up here are praying for snow and are acting like it is a bad thing and they are going to go to a bad place because that is complete blasphemy. I hope I never have to live in a place where it snows a lot. California is the best place to live, especially Southern Cali. because it snows in the mountains and you can enjoy it from a distance and drive on the roads safely without the worry of spinning out from hitting black ice. I don't know if it is noticeable or not,but I don't like the snow very much!

So I would catch you up on my life since this summer, but I hope I will blog more often! I was reading nienie's blog actually watching her Mormon Message and decided that I need to start blogging again. Not saying that I will become this big time blogger and will have thousands of followers, but this is a good way for me to look back on my life. It is a journal in a sort. home decor

So in my home making class we rotate around three classes during the semester. My first rotation was cooking, and now I am in home decor and really scared! I secretly believe this class is great for me because I am so bad at being a homemaker apparently! I have no idea about styles in homes, if I like it then I will say that looks cool, and I am not thinking wow look at the refurbished couch and the hardwood floors look superb with the draperies. That's just not me! So anyway I have to take two quizzes to see what kind of house style I am.

I thought of something!!

So I am taking a homemaking class! The section I  am in right now is cooking! I have to cook and bake for homework! It is harder than you think, it is really annoying actually. I have learned some cool things though! I have learned how to make homemade noodles, homemade rolls, croissant rolls made pretty, pie crust, sauce, etc. All of that from scratch! You don't know me well if you don't know that I am horrible in the kitchen. I try and help, but I finally get asked to just set the table. I can set the table like a pro though, so at least I have that going for me! I really don't like my teacher because she embarrassed me on the first day of class, and always tells me basically that I am doing everything wrong. Besides that I have learned a lot. Thank goodness the cooking section is almost over, and we are going on to home decor. So i will be able to walk into your house and say ya this is decorated well. I will post some pictures of my creations.

Rainy Days on Mondays

I was singing that song on Monday because it was raining and Monday! What a concept right! So I am sorry i am so bad at blogging, just my life is not super eventful right now. If anything it is really confusing, but you know who isn't confused in life?? Especially if you talk to me, you are probably confused through the whole conversation, thinking where is she going with this.

I just felt like I should post and say hello! I went to Utah this past weekend with Parker, his roommate Trae, my friend Kyler, and my roommate Siena. It was really fun! I stayed at Meagan and Bil's house with Parker and Trae. Those two crack me up, they would just say "would you look at that" and "what a treat" but in the funniest way. I just loved their company. Meg was a great listener to all of my drama, and was being a great sister giving me advice. B.I.L was cracking me up with looking at himself in the mirror, and just saying funny things!

I love, love, love my roommates! I stay up too late because Clare gets home late, and we are all doing homework until wee hours of the night, so when we get a chance to talk we take it and mess around till too late. They are too fun!

Last night Siena, Jaclyn, and I went and saw The Help!! So good! I loved it, and wanted to beat up some people in that movie! I wish I lived back then to see all of this happen. It really interests me because I am interested to see how I would react to those situations. I would love to be born in like the 50's or 60's. Actually probably like the 40's so I could be in my teenage years during those years.

jumpy

I am a very jumpy person, really anything scares me. Some recent examples:
-I was walking in the library and a kid turned the corner and I jumped and gasped and he looked at me like i am sorry but not really because that wasn't scary, I just replied with wow you scared me.
-My friend Ryan jumped in front of our window and I screamed super loud
-A couple seconds ago I just took a shower and my hair is wet and I am looking down and a water drop fell on my hand and I jumped and thought a bug landed on me.

I think I need some help!
