Aunt Pam you ROCK!!

Zach and I were excited for this past summer and couldn't wait to have relaxing days in America and had ideas of how our days would go. Well things didn't go according to plan at all, it was actually the exact opposite. Days were long and hard and full of the unknown. I won't go into much detail because it isn't my story, but we lost my Uncle Don this summer. He always had the best food recommendations. Zach and I always talk about this one time he took my Aunt, my Mom, both of my Sister's, my BIL, and Zach and I to sushi. It was this little dingy restaurant and we weren't expecting much. We aren't a big sushi family and so we left the ordering up to him and boy did he provide! It was SO good! It was so fun hearing his recommendations and just being together as family. Love you Uncle Don!

I want to write about my wonderful Aunt Pam. I don't know where to begin to even explain what an amazing woman she is. She is truly one of my heroes and always has been, I even had a key chain that said "I Love My Aunt" and had pride in that (she did give it to me, but I still used it until it broke). I have always been her favorite person I even beat out her children. Okay not true, but she truly makes you feel like you are her favorite person. I have never seen her greet anyone without a cheerful hello, except for maybe the man that works at Space Mountain he had it coming though. She makes everyone feel comfortable and loved even if you have met her for 10 seconds. She is genuinely interested in your life and wants to see you succeed. She gave the best Christmas gifts and knew I was going to get something good if she drew my name. I still have this green bow bracelet she gave me and will have it forever. She is witty and hilarious and she has the best laugh. When people have good laughs don't you feel ten times funnier? Aunt Pam is extremely talented too. She can sew anything, make a mean scrap book, have the best activity ideas, she was a teacher, super creative, very smart, a history buff and the list could go on. I have only ever called her Aunt Pam, not Pam ever, only Aunt Pam because I respect her so much and feel like it is a great title.

She literally has been dragged through hell this summer and when people say things could get worse, well they did for her. She held her head high and did what she had to do. She is literally superwoman and rocks the outfit that it comes with. She has such a strong testimony of the gospel and has such amazing faith. She could have complained and given up, but she never did. She IS AMAZING!! She is a woman who I want my future children to be like and admire, not worldly woman. She has come out of many awful situations still smelling like a rose.

I love you Aunt Pam and just really wanted the world to know what an excellent human being you are. I hope everyone can have an Aunt Pam in their life and I hope to be a fraction of an aunt to my favorite small humans.
